  • Today is a gift, so ski. No promise of more.
I am not sure of the best answer, but it is a great question. I believe I use mine too much.

The only word I can think of is SUPPORT !!

Normally once a year, I get a shot in my left knee, which is really worn and near bone to bone. This keeps me going till it starts to get painful a year later. Well because of Covid this year, the clinic was shut down for 3 months, so no annual shot. The knee was not only painful but it would collapse while skiing if I loaded it. Since it is the back leg, I was forced to ski with much more weight focused on the front leg.Turned out to be a blessing. My acceleration rate became much better as did my exit from apex. I am technically skiing much better now. I no longer push on the back leg like I used to. So some good did come out of Covid.

My right hip is the issue. I'm lff and putting pressure on my right hip hurts, especially if I'm pressuring it and pushing it forward. Not good.
